Fresh entries start where Candy puts them in its library and climb only if visitors vote for them. This ladder holds the 13 series that are new right now: the ones Candy marks with its own “New” label, plus any series that joined Candy’s library in the last seven days.
Because older votes fade (half their weight every 10 days), a new series does not have to catch up with months of votes: a few good days are enough to reach the main podium.

We read Candy’s library every morning. A new series gets its page, its card and its place on every ladder it belongs to that same morning.
Can a brand-new series reach number one?
Yes. Points fade over time, so recent votes weigh more than old ones and a new series can overtake long-standing ones.
When does a series leave this list?
When Candy removes its “New” label and it has been in the library for more than seven days.
